A new social networking site called Twine is the brainchild of technology guru Nova Spivak. It looks like a cross between Facebook and Wikipedia, but its engine room is powered by “semantic understanding”, where the website actively learns about you and your interests. The technology gets to know you, learns what you love & what you hate, then suggests new info, twines and contacts through personalized recommendations.
