It’s a place to discover and listen to some great new music, similar to LastFM but put together in a totally different way: The Filter uses artificial intelligence to make recommendations, based on your previous tastes and preferences. It’s a really smart tool for today’s digital world.

Peter Gabriel’s innovative music site, WE7.com is a music discovery service where you can stream and download music for free with a short audio advert attached, or pay to download without the advert. All downloads are in high quality MP3 format and there’s a wide-range of music available.

When the service was launched, in May 2007, just 30 tracks were available to users. In a short space of time WE7.com has reached over 3 million downloads, over 100,000 subscribers and secured licences for music from some of the world’s leading artists. The site is adding thousands of new tracks each day and will soon have hundreds of thousands of tracks that you can download for free.
