Blip.fm rocks

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008

Blip FMI’ve just signed up for a new music service called Blip.fm. I love the way this site is put together. It’s a cross between a blog and your own personal radio station. With each short post, you attach some music for visitors to listen to.

You can make your own playlists, or listen to other users with similar tastes. I’m finding it so addictive, it’s hard to pull myself away from it. It’s even better than Last.fm, and that’s saying something.

Check out my own personal Blip radio station at blip.fm/WiseCat, and I hope you enjoy the music. If not, why not sign up yourself and share your kind of music with new friends at Blip.fm.

Get more focused in 10 minutes

Simple MeditationWhen you are feeling tired, worried or stressed out,  a simple 10-minute breathing meditation session  can pacify your mind, making you more focused and in control of things.

A few minutes in meditative silence will give you a whole new perspective on the world, free up your imagination and creativity, and make you feel more positive with renewed energy for going back to the problems of the day.

Just by doing breathing meditation for ten or fifteen minutes each day, you are able to reduce stress, feel much calmer and better able to cope with your everyday problems and difficult situations. It certainly works for me!
