After more than 34 months of active development, and with the contributions of thousands, Firefox 3 will be available for download on Tuesday. With over one million pledged users ready to participate on Download Day, Tuesday 17 June, it’s fair to say expectations are high for the latest version of the Web browser.

I’ve been testing out the Preview Release, and can confirm that Firefox 3 is the best browser yet, with dozens of new and improved features. You can get a preview of the all the features and updates that are included by taking a look at “A Field Guide to Firefox 3″ by Debra Lynn Richardson.
