UltimateDefrag ~ Freeware Edition
Monday, May 26th, 2008
UltimateDefrag is revolutionary defrag software that not only lets you defrag, but also considers a more important phenomenon, and that is, the placement of files and folders on your hard drive.
With UltimateDefrag you can place the files you want the best performance from onto the faster areas of your hard drive and also get all of your unused data right out of the way and repositioned onto the slower areas. The software lets you specify defrag routines right down to the individual file and folder level. No other defragger has previously enabled you to do this to this extent and with this kind of power and flexibility.
UltimateDefrag can speed up your entire system by about 150%.

Best Music Organizer ~ MediaMonkey
Monday, May 19th, 2008
MediaMonkey is a great FREE application for organizing and playing all your music files. Media Monkey will automatically search your drive for music in most popular formats. Music can be arranged by title, artist, date, genre or your own personal rating.
The monkey can also normalise all tracks to a similar volume level, go online to retrieve track information and missing album art, create palylists, convert files into other formats, copy music to CDs and record music from CDs. I’ve been playing with this application over the weekend, and absolutely love it!
