David ArchuletaDavid Archuleta is a 17-year-old singer from San Diego. He is current odds-on favourite to win the seventh season of American Idol. Archuleta started singing when he was six , inspired by a Les Misérables video he was watching. He started performing as an entertainer at ten years old, appearing in the Utah Talent Competition singing “I Will Always Love You” by Dolly Parton, and received a standing ovation.

David’s good looks and his “pure, pop voice” have helped him build a huge fan base during the competition. Musical Influences: Natalie Cole, Stevie Wonder, Kirk Franklin, Bryan Adams.
