Today is School Report Day where schools across the UK are creating their own news reports and broadcasting them with the help of the BBC.

The aim of the BBC News project is to interest students in current affairs and news by helping them set their own editorial agenda for a real audience. 11 to 14-year-olds from UK schools have been given the chance to make their own video, audio or text-based news and to broadcast it.
