Here’s a good game to play, the next time you are on Google:
Type into Google part of an ordinary phrase, enclosed by quotation marks. I tried “the Internet is such” and got some interesting results:
The Internet is such a powerful medium that it is going to change the face of education.
The Internet is such a leap in communication
The nature of the Internet is such that it is impossible to determine its size.
Looking for information on the Internet is such a time-consuming activity
The internet is such a wide open bottomless uncharted and invisible world
The nature of the Internet is such that the message passes through between 1 and about 25 processors from the time that it leaves the sender’s organisation until it reaches the recipient’s.
And so on and so on … In fact Google found over 50,000 pages that included this phrase. You can come up with some really interesting stuff this way, on websites you wouldn’t normally look at. This game also has the potential to come up with some hilarious quotes. Off the top of my head, I typed in “my ass is” and got these results …
My Ass Is Haunted
my ass is burnin’
My Ass is up for Sale.
My ass is grass and he’s got a lawnmower.
My ass is so fant-ASS-tic that did you know what words rhyme best with my ass?
I think “I have a whistle pop up my ass” is a better excuse than “I have the flu”
My Ass is announcing its candidacy for the office of President of the United States.
And for the legal eagles out there -

It seems over a million people have posted messages on the Web about their ass. Has anyone else tried this game, and come up with some funny quotations? What should we call this game?
