My top 3 must-have freeware utilities
My top 3 utilities are all concerned with security: Making your computer secure against viruses, securing your computer against spyware, and securing your machine against loss of data. You should give these considerations priority above all else, as the consequences of having your machine infected or losing all your files hardly bear thinking about! All of these utilities are absolutely free to download:
1. Avast Antivirus Software works unobtrusively in the background protecting your computer in real time from all those nasty viruses, worms and Trojans. It can be used to scan any object you like – files, memory, E-mails, Web sites etc. I’ve had Avast installed on my machine for several years, and never had a problem. Highly recommended!
2. Spyware Teminator provides active real-time protection and removal of Adware, Spyware, and Scumware. With its built in HIPS system that warns you of any unrecognized intruders, it has stronger protection than many other products. In fact, Spyware Terminator is a very competent piece of freeware that will make your PC just about impregnable. The interface is easy-to-use providing meaningful, yet unobtrusive, warnings and alerts. It will also warn you of malicious web sites, and automatically block them.
3. MozyHome Online Backup works reliably behind the scenes on your PC, automatically backing up your important files, photos, documents and more to secure servers over the internet. Installation is a breeze, then once your first backup is done just click on My Computer and you can see your entire back-up as a virtual disk. You can view your backed up files from any computer, so in the event of a catastrophe, such as your hard-drive suddenly dying, you can still recover all your files. It’s certainly the best and most reliable online backup service I have yet found. Make sure you sign up for Mozy Home Free to get 2 GB of 100% free backup space, but it’s still worth signing up for unlimited backup at $4.95 per month.

Hi there, I am glad I pressed harder enough until I found free spyware adware removal, because this post on My top 3 must-have freeware utilities was extremely helpful. Just last Thursday I was pondering on this quite a bit.

Howdy, what made you want to write on My top 3 must-have freeware utilities? I was wondering, because I have been thinking about this since last Thursday.

Glad to hear this info was helpful to you. I am going to write a series of posts about my favourite freeware utilities. I started with security stuff such as spyware and adware removal, as I considered this to be the most important to tell readers about.
Look out for more utility reviews every Monday.

What is your opinion of this site and the free software

Comodo.com is a well-known and trusted website. However, Appscout.com recently reviewed their free computer scanning appilications, and came to the conclusion that the scans “did not even remotely clean their system.”
I would recommend the free security tools available from http://www.trendsecure.com, another trusted site.

Yes, I agree with Antivirus protection. So I decide to use other software http://www.search-and-destroy.com, that includes comprehensive malware detection Thanks!”
